Dating As A Sport
While we've been on plenty of normal dates, there seems to be at least one crazy person for every normal one! Just when we think we've experienced all the weird situations there are in the dating world, we are amazed again! Enjoy the stories, they are all true! (names are changed to protect... well... mostly us! No reason to make the crazy people angry!)

On the seventh date of Christmas Santa gave to me...
...a 7 minute phone call
setting up a date for tomorrow! Watch for the story about how it goes!
On the sixth date of Christmas Santa gave to me...
six weird hugs good bye... ok maybe only 3 but it was still weird.
He was in Hawaii on vacation and we started texting and he was on top of things and made a date for the day he got back. He called and we had long funny phone calls. We went to dinner, we laughed, had funny stories to share and he was not my normal look but still cute. He had told me any first moves were going to be on me to do since I've never had to make a first move. He walked me to my car, gave me at least 3 hugs good night but then nothing happened. He wanted to know when I got home but then wasn't at all flirty. I was a big surprised at the mixed signals though I took it as "win some and lose some" to make it weird though, a few days later he texted me that he was going to bed early and the next day he wasn't chatty at all. I'm still not sure what to make of him.
Date grade: A
Follow up potential: 80%... if I ever hear from him!
On the fifth date of Christmas Santa gave to me...
5 minutes of kissing
Let's call him Ice Man. He was also a pilot and thought he was hot stuff. I admit, he was cute but not that cute. It took all of five minutes for him to make it clear he wanted more than I did and we went back to just watching the movie. Luckily I wasn't that into him either so watching the movie was fine with me.
Date grade: F
Future potential: 0%
Irony: he texted later and wanted to know if we could watch a movie again, I ignored the text. That seems like a really bad idea still!
On the fourth date of Christmas Santa gave to me...
...four fun movie nights
He was cute, he was nice, not pushy AND not wanting anything that could look like a relationship.
He refereed basketball, had a smal business, adopts families for Christmas and on paper is great but when it came down to it, not at all what I was looking for. A friend with benefits is not what I wanted at this point.
He was also only "okay" at kissing which really defeats the friends-with-benefits situation anyway so not a good choice.
Date grade: B+, now C-
Future potential: 0%
On the third date of Christmas Santa gave to me...
...Watermelon Bubble Gum Boy
Possibly the best kisser to this point which was quite an accomplishment considering the wad of watermelon bubble gum he had. it was yet (another) movie night first date. Add in James Bond and it was a very fun night! He is not the type of guy I usually go for though he is cute and a great kisser so it was a fun night.
Date Grade: A-
Follow up: 40%. He was fun but not the type of guy I date so we may go out once or twice but I don't see anything beyond that.
On the second date of Christmas Santa gave to me...
...a 2-in-1 date
He had mentioned at one point I wasn't his type so I stopped texting. Apparently that wasn't what he meant though and he kept pushing to hang out. I finally gave in one night and we watched a movie and then fell asleep before it was even over. When I woke up the next morning he was still here (oops). He was actually really fun and he didn't try anything which was a good change!
Date grade: B+
follow up: I don't see him as someone I'd date seriously but he is fun to talk to and would be fun to go on occasional dates with
Future Potential: 80%
