Pick a Team

I'm still trying to decide who I like the most and who I should actually date. The guys are all for being exclusive but obviously I cannot do that right now though I have stopped looking for new options at least until I figure out what these ones.

So far, Ute Football seems to be in the lead but the other ones have their moments. I need to choose somewhat soon before I hurt more people than I have to but who to choose is the question?

The Comeback Kid

Here's an interesting twist. Biker boy wants to date. Not just randomly kiss but actually be my boyfriend, go out on dates, hang out with the family, date. I thought he was just in it for the action and have been sorta dodging him but the other day he told me I had it all wrong, he wanted to date me and see where it went cause he "really likes" me. I even told him I was kinda dating 2 other guys and they were getting pretty serious and his reaction was that he thinks I'll choose him if I just give him a chance. So... I told him to plan a date and we'd see what happened. I'm not sure this is a good idea or not but I am not exactly exclusive with Hairy Chest or Ute Football so... why not?

Kissing Buddies- yes or no?

So I've had "friends with benefits" before but not typically when there are options I'm actually considering dating.

Currently I could actually see myself dating Ute Football or Hairy Chest. I'm leaning more towards Ute Football but I like to take my time when it comes to actually committing to the relationship. In the mean time though, I have a few options that are really cute but SO not my type that just want to make out. In college we believed in "playing the players" but is it really worth it when there are options I actually want to date? Art Gallery and The Biker are very persistent and Wildlife Management makes an attempt every week or so. Are they even worth talking to? So far I've turned them down every time but I do keep chatting with them... Should I just tell them the answer is always going to be no or should I say yes?

Dating again!

Things are still going with the on again, off again boy but I need to try a few new options. Hes taking a break from dating and I don't mind seeing where things go but I also don't see a point to just waiting for him when who knows what will happen! So... bring on the boys! If it ends up working out with him some day then that is awesome but who knows, it might work out better with someone else!

A girl at work helped me build a profile online and I'm only going out with the cutest ones! Some of them are more interested in dating than others which, as long as I know upfront what they want, has its perks. I'm looking to date someone seriously but I don't want to rush into anything.

So, bring on the dates! Interested applicants can send a picture and be considered for a date. I prefer boys that are at least 6' tall (though not required) and not super thin.

Hairy Chest

The Date:
There have been a few, our first date was a cuddle night (and kissing). Have followed with a bonfire, cornmaze and a few movie nights, most recently sitting with me while I've been sick. Loaned me a hoodie that says Utah in an attempt to convert me to the red side. Is pretty much perfect for me.

Very sweet, earning major bonus points since I've been sick.

Future Potential:
We'll see where it goes but he's getting major brownie points so far!

Picnic

Recently divorced as of the middle of the summer. Hasn't really dated anyone else since then.

The Date:
Went to Subway and got sandwiches followed by a drive up the canyon for a picnic. We walked up the park trail for awhile and kissed.

The downsides: He seems to be lacking in ambition and goals. Was VERY awkward. Not sure if it was due to personality or just new to the dating scene. Was talking about how long I needed until I was engaged right off the bat.

Future Potential:
Will probably go out one more time to give him a second chance but as of now I don't see it going far.

Movies

The date:
Went to a scary movie where we proceeded to make out through the whole movie. Downside, he tried to get WAY too touchy feely and wouldn't stop when I told him to.

Post Date: sent me lots of texts about how awesome I was and how much he wanted to try dating to which I said no. A few days later he texted that he was sorry but he had decided to be single for awhile so we wouldn't be able to date anymore (DUH!!)

Mini-Golf

The Date: We went mini-golfing indoors. It was a cool night so I had brought a sweater that I wore till about the 13th hole and then it was a little warm. we finished all 18 holes and he was SOAKED in sweat. Very unattractive to me. We talked about health and fitness and there were basic things that he didn't know. Proceeded to tell me all about how much he hates doctors and medical professionals.

Post Date:
I stopped texting and got a text from him saying how great I was and how he wanted to see where it went, I politely said no.

Really into biking and very in shape.

Spent all day texting and had set a date for the next night because I already had a date for that night. He wanted to come over after my date rather than waiting so I went for it.

After the "date": Sent me a long text wanting to know my thoughts on a few physical things. (mostly appropriate) but then stood me up for the next date. A week later sent me a text wondering when we could hang out and said he fell asleep last time and didn't mean to stand me up. Verdict is still out on if he gets a second chance or not.

Sports Medicine

Working on a Masters in Sports Medicine and working for the University of Utah football team as a trainer.

Asked me out several times but was never able to make things work out. Putting things on hold while my family is here visiting and things are crazy.

Downside:
Says 3-4 times a year he usually drinks. Not a fan.

Back at the start of the year some girl friends and I were joking about having a contest to see who could kiss the highest amount of guys with different letters of names. It was a joke but I've now decided to try it. I know the whole alphabet would be very ambitious but I can put a dent in it!

Back on the Market

So having taken almost a 5 month break, I'm very much back on the dating market and ready to add a few new adventures to the blog. My friend for the last few months was fun but its gotten to the point that it just seems it would be better to date a bunch of different people for the summer. (yes I realize it is March and it has been snowing all weekend but I'm mentally ready for summer, it starts now)

So that poses the question, I need to meet new boys. Yes email boy is still in the picture but not in a sit-around-and-wait for him kind of way so bring on the new boys and lets see what happens!

I'm having a contest with my friends to see who can kiss the most boys whose names start with different letters in the alphabet and right now, I'm losing. we are at the start of month 3 and I only have 1 letter. I figure I need to be a 5 right now to be on track so I have some catching up to do.

Where is the best place to meet new guys? I will try out every (local) suggestion and let you know how well it worked out!
